I met up with skateboarder Geoff Rowley in the Civilware shop, where his team makes knives and outdoor gear by hand. While most people know him from skateboarding lore, Geoff has also been an avid hunter and outdoorsman since a young age, culminating now with his presence as a hunting guide for Kika Worldwide. In the interview Geoff talks dedication, growing up in England, the mountain lion in Extremely Sorry, and his love for Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum revolvers. On this episode I am talking with former Delta Force operator, Tom Satterly, and his wife, Jen Satterly. Tom spent 20 years with Delta Force, and like some of the other guests I have had on, Tom was part of the Battle of Mogadishu, which many people know as the Black Hawk Down incident. Jen was a photographer assigned to document special operations when she met Tom. The two were eventually married. Together, they run the All Secure Foundation, which helps victims of PTSD in various ways, including retreats; which we get into on the episode.
