Nicolaus Tideman is probably one of the most famous Georgist economists in the world. He earned his PhD in economics at the University of Chicago, had various positions at universities and was a Senior Staff Economist for the Council of Economic Advisors. Since 1973 he has been at Virginia Tech. He published not only about economic topics but also about public decision-making.
