Thank you to Isaac Rye for coming on the show.
Isaac is an old friend of mine who I met whilst on the set of Masters of the Air (Apple TV) where we both played prisoners of war in the army barracks.
Despite disagreeing on some topics, we always got on well and managed to have a laugh, making him a good pick for someone to come on and talk to me about my favourite subject: Me!
He was keen to come on and talk about me and I knew he'd put me to the test as he has never been afraid to hold me and my stances to account. I don't like nodding dogs and I often need someone to put me in my place as it were.
In this episode and since,, I have reflected on where I'm going, if I should wind it back a bit with the rather divisive opinions and I'm even considering going abroad for the first time in what would be nine years!
Though some of what he said wasn't nice to hear, maybe it's true that I take it too far sometimes. We all need a reality check from time to time and this conversation has got me thinking. I guess nobody's perfect; not even me!
