The Winds of Winter WILL NOT be out in 2020 and A Song of Ice and Fire will NEVER be finished. GRRM posted on Not A Blog that he is making progress, which is great, but he also said there “is a long way to go.” Based on what vague details he gave on his progress, it only sounds like he is a little over half way through. After 9 years, after months of lockdown we were all hoping he was headed toward the fish line, but he isn’t. Looks like the only ending we get is the disaster that was Game of Thrones Season 8 and A Dream of Spring will only be that…a dream.
