Betsy has been a grassroots activist since 2009 when she left the Democratic Party to become involved with the Tea Party. Over the past 16 years, she has dedicated herself to building and strengthening the Georgia GOP from the ground up. Her service encompasses roles at various levels—county, district, and state. Betsy has consistently stepped up to meet the needs of her community, including serving as a 2024 Presidential Elector, Delegate to the 2020 and 2024 Republican National Convention, member of the 7th District Committee, Fulton County First Vice Chair, Acting Chair of Fulton County in 2021, and House District 50 Chair.
