This week we are going to the swamps of Georgia to cover the disappearance, and suspected murder, of Terry Rouse. This case ends with a conviction but did the jury make the right decision?Fun Fact: In Georgia, it is illegal to carry an ice cream cone in your back pocket on Sundays. In the early 1900s, it was common for horse thieves to lure horses away from their owners by placing a sweet treat, like an ice cream cone, in their back pocket. When the horse leaned down to eat the treat, the thief would grab the reins and ride off with the horse. To prevent this form of theft, the state of Georgia passed a law that prohibited anyone from keeping an ice cream cone in their back pocket on Sundays.Find us on the webs!Follow us on InstagramLike us on FacebookSupport us on Patreon - for early access and ad-free, join our Patreon!Buy us a Coffee! - if you want to support the podcast with a one-time donation, buy us a coffee!Rate, Review, and Subscribe on iTunesMusic courtesy of Blanche
