In this podcast episode, we will explore the idea of using your past pain as a source of inspiration to help others and find your purpose in life. It is common to feel lost or stuck when trying to figure out what you want to do with your life. However, by reflecting on your previous experiences, you can discover a deeper understanding of yourself and how you can make a positive impact on the world.

We hear the powerful story of Ryan who has been diagnosed with Borderline personality disorder (BPD) and the journey he went through to get there. Through personal reflection and honest storytelling, we learn how this diagnosis has transformed his life in profound and positive ways.

One of the key themes of this episode is the idea that predatory and narcissistic individuals are often skilled at hiding their true intentions and manipulating those around them. Throughout the episode, we see how important it is to trust our instincts and pay attention to the subtle cues that can indicate something is not quite right. We also see how easy it can be to miss these signs, particularly when we are in the midst of a situation or relationship.

"I let it happen to me, so it didn't happen to you" is what Ryans's older brother told him when they both found out they had been sexually assaulted by their father.

Kev was sexually abused by his father from the ages of 5-15. A truly horrifying ordeal that no one should have to go through or experience. As Ryan recounts the harrowing experience, we see just how selfless and heroic he was in his actions.

Listeners will hear about our personal experiences with BPD, grief, and the unconditional love family have for each other in the eyes of a manipulator, narcissist and predator. Our discussion is intended to help individuals with their personal journeys and shed some light on things that aren’t normally discussed in “small talk situations”.
