ActionAid Australia and the Sydney Comedy Festival are bringing together a line-up of Australia’s funniest women – yes, all women! – to raise funds and support ActionAid’s work on women’s rights around the world.
Following 3 massive galas, Frocking Hilarious, now in its fourth year running, is all about celebrating the power of laughter. This year ActionAid Ambassador, Judith Lucy, will be on stage alongside a stellar line up of some of Australia’s funniest comics.
Previous shows have starred Australia’s most famous comediennes—from Judith Lucy to Wendy Harmer, Claire Hooper, Fiona O’Loughlin and Kitty Flanagan.
ActionAid works to empower women living in poverty around the world to stand up for their rights. These women are brave, resilient and, in spite of their struggles, often draw on the strength of laughter. Let’s laugh with them!
All proceeds from ticket sales will support ActionAid’s work with women around the world.
