Portrait Sonore

Gesù / 150 years of history

Listen Later

This pocket-sized reportage of ten vignettes, all in sound and music, invites the public to enjoy an immersive and poetic experience at the heart of the heritage, architecture and history of the Gesù. This church bears witness to the important Jesuit presence in Montreal. This “sacred” space, always open to the arts, including theater, is where art and spirituality meet. To the rhythm of eclectic music, organ and song, you'll hear actors Marcel Sabourin, Gilles Pelletier, Françoise Gratton, music critic Claude Gingras, artist Daniel Leblond, Jacques Monet, organist François Zeitouni, and many more.
