In der neuen Folge spricht Dr. Philipp Köbe mit Unternehmensberater und Investor Fabian Binöder. Wir klären einige Mythen über privates Kapital in der Gesundheitsversorgung auf und beschäftigen uns mit den Vorteilen von Investoren im Gesundheitssystem. Die Evidenz zeigt, dass durch private Kliniken und Unternehmertum im niedergelassenen Bereich Effizienzreserven ausgeschöpft werden können und innovative Ansätze zu einer höheren Patientenzentrierung beitragen können. Aber wie hoch dürfen Profite mit Gesundheitsleistungen sein und was sind unethische Geschäftsmodelle. Auch darüber haben wir natürlich gesprochen. Außerdem haben wir uns der Frage gewidmet, warum Startups es so schwer im Gesundheitsmarkt haben und die Abneigung von Investoren einen Beitrag dazu leistet. Und wir haben auch besprochen, wie die GKV mit einem eigenen Fonds zum (gemeinnützigen) Investor im Gesundheitswesen werden könnte.

In der neuen Folge spricht Dr. Philipp Köbe mit Hendrik Bollen und Stephan Graue über die Zukunft der Gesundheitsberufe. Primär geht es um die Bereiche Medizin und Pflege. In beiden Feldern haben wir langjährig etablierte, aber relativ starre Berufsgruppen, die durch neue Kompetenzen und Berufsformate ergänzt werden können. Der Physician Assistant kann für den ärztlichen Dienst eine sinnvolle Unterstützung sein, um Aufgaben neu zu ordnen und Patientenbedürfnisse besser abzubilden. Auf der anderen Seite benötigen wir in der Pflege neue Möglichkeiten der Weiterqualifizierung und einen anderen Blick auf Arbeitsbedingungen und die Integration von ausländischen Fachkräften.
Was sind die Anforderungen an die Gesundheitsberufe der Zukunft? Wie können wir sicherstellen, dass neue Berufe auch in der Praxis zum Einsatz kommen? Und inwieweit muss sich das Mindset bei Führungskräften und Entscheidungsträgern für Transformationsprozesse verändern?

In der neuen Folge sprechen wir mit Alexander Eichholz von der Charitè über die Gesundheitsversorgung in der DDR. Vom Ausgangspunkt der 1940er Jahre des deutschen Reiches, auf einem gleichen Wissensstand und mit gleichen verfügbaren Ressourcen nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg, entwickelten sich die Gesundheitssysteme der BRD und der DDR sehr unterschiedlich. Der vorübergehende Aufschwung der DDR-Wirtschaft konnte den Mangel und die andauernde Knappheit einzelner Güter nicht kompensieren. Hinzu kamen eine massive Umwelt- und Luftverschmutzung durch die volkseigenen Betriebe der DDR.
Wie war das Gesundheitssystem in der zentralistischen Planwirtschaft ausgestaltet? Wie wurden Arbeitskräfte und Gesundheitsleistungen in diesem System verteilt? Welche Versorgungskonzepte wurden nach der Wiedervereinigung abgeschafft, die wir heute in ähnlicher Form wieder etablieren wollen? Und was hat man den DDR-Bürgern verschwiegen, mit fatalen Folgen für deren Gesundheit? Darüber und vieles mehr geht es in dieser Folge.
