A short stint in private practice left Mark Bassingthwaighte feeling unfulfilled. So he pursued an opportunity that has turned into a career in risk management at ALPS Insurance, which has given him the chance to write expensively, develop his public speaking skills, and even get into screenwriting. But more importantly he has adopted a mindset to put himself in uncomfortable positions, because that's where we stretch ourselves and grow.
