October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.  As a survivor and Restoration Strategist, I urge each of you to consider getting involved decreasing the occurrences of this form of violence happening in your local community.

According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence - 1:4 women and 1:9 men experience severe intimate partner physical violence, Intimate Partner sexual contact, and or Intimate Partner stalking with impacts such as injury; fearfulness; PTSD; use of victim services, contraction of STDs, etc...

The Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Vigil was hosted by the Alpha Chi Omega chapter in Central Virginia
