Jamie Tennant, CFMU’s Programming Director, author, and host of Get Lit, reflects on approaching nearly 500 episodes of the long-running books and literature program. He looks back on how the show has shaped him, what he has learned from years of conversations with authors, booksellers, publishers and literary voices, and why he has decided that the 500th episode will be the show’s final chapter.

Later in the episode, George speaks with Andrew Mrozowski, The Silhouette’s Executive Editor, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, about his new record, Welcome To Nowhere, released May 6. They discuss the themes behind the project, Andrew’s growth since his last record, and the writing and recording process that brought the album to life.
