We all get into “interesting” moods or just funks. None of those are fun at all as they drain our energy. The other day, I was in a serious funk and not sure why. I did some reflecting and realized that I had not been reading my daily affirmation list that I had created. I am not sure why I had not read it in days as I know the power and benefit of reading it. Realizing the shortfall in my reading, I quickly read it and started to feel instant relief. The main takeaway here is to do what it takes to get yourself out of your funk. If you do not have a daily affirmation list, create one ASAP. Make sure that it has “I will” and “I am” statements. Do not use “I want” or “I should” statements. By using “I will” and “I am”, you are making a commitment to yourself. An affirmation list will give you your definite of purpose which will drive you through each day.
