Being in your feelings can cause us to be led by our emotions and not spiritually guided. This is why we must stay connected to a higher power that is able to check us when we are ready to respond based on our feelings. Being filled with the Holy Ghost develops a new standard for us to operate to when we are effected by a situation that has had a direct or indirect impact. Let's learn to be in tune with what we're feeling at that time, but instead of reacting, give it to God first!
