Matthew Menichelli is the founder of Elevate Building Group, a building company based in Diamon Valley, Melbourne and specialises in Custom homes complemented by a wealth of experience ranging from renovations, extensions, new homes, multi-res developments, basement construction and commercial fit-outs. Mattew began as an Industrial Design student, but his passion led him away from the classroom and towards the hands-on approach of a carpenter in the building industry. Matt thrived in this industry, and after nine years, his company has garnered multiple awards, including the title of Best Custom Home at the Master Builder Awards in 2022.
In this episode, we sat down with Matthew and chatted about his passion for building, how to run a successful building business, and why paid quotes should be normalised in the industry.
