The excitement is palpable as we gear up for the 2022 Garden Route International Film Festival (GRIFF) in its brand new home - Diaz Beach, Mossel Bay. We chat to Festival Director Patrick Walton.

About GRIFF:

GRIFF is a festival for filmmakers, creative expression, education, new technology and media. The festival supports emerging and established filmmakers, encourages community participation and learning through innovation.

GRIFF has representation globally, with over 30 countries represented in competition. International standards of selection and judging utilizing Members of the Emmy’s were upheld. Marketing principals and audience development were key to the success of the first festival. The program creation and development, jury selection, technical standards and experience will remain key strategies employed by the festival to stimulate this growth and achieve our objectives.
