If you want to succeed, get rid of all your friends. The truly successful person values his or her own company and needs no one but themselves. Average people, especially your friends will only hold you back with their disloyalty and mediocrity.
In this episode Tiff and I explore this topic, along with other insane bullshit advocated in certain self-help circles.
Granted, not every friend you have is a good friend or a good fit for you. However, the research and very likely, our own personal experience provides more than enough evidence that good friends will give your life more inspiration, meaning, excitement, and happiness than nearly anything else. Don't fire your friends just yet. You may regret it.
Also in this episode we examine the notion that work must be hard, and completely void of enjoyment to be effective. In general this episode is skeptical of anything that is packaged in absolute thinking, the hallmark of the fixed mindset.
Let's keep the bullshit in check.
Enjoy!
