Can you name the friends your teen hangs out with?

As your child gets older, his friends will become more and more important to him. He’ll want independence from mom and dad, and he’ll look to friends for acceptance and value. With such an important role those kids play, isn’t it important to know who they are?

Take time to meet your sons group of friends. Be creative. They won’t come over for an interrogation! But you can set up a barbecue for your son and let him invite his friends. Or, if it’s appropriate, spend some time with their parents.
