EraBlue, modelled after MWG's successful "Dien May Xanh" chain in Vietnam, aims to replicate that success in Indonesia. Mr. Doan Van Hieu Em, CEO of The Gioi Di Dong (Mobile World) and Dien May Xanh, highlighted Indonesia's large and promising market potential. He noted the lack of a leading retailer that provides high-quality service to enhance consumer shopping experiences, presenting a significant opportunity for Erablue.
The launch signifies a crucial step in MWG's overseas expansion plan. By leveraging the strengths of both Vietnam and Indonesia, Erablue aims to become a dominant player in the Indonesian market and the broader Southeast Asian region.
With the robust growth of modern retail channels, the Indonesian electronics market is projected to reach USD 9-10 billion within the next five years. Erablue has set ambitious targets of capturing 20-40% market share and launching an IPO within the same timeframe.
