I met my Biological Father at the age of 31 and it was my first time seeing him as an adult. I sought him because I had decided that I wanted to heal the parts of me that were raw and unfinished as a result of my belief that I wasn't worthy of the loyalty and love of a man so that I could begin the journey of finding a Healthy love relationship with a partner. Finding him was my part to do to create the beautiful life I live today and this is where it started. My father died of Pancreatic Cancer on January 1, 2008, mere months after our meeting. Glad I got to grapple with the thoughts and beliefs I had developed with him and get his perspective while he was still healthy. This episode will surely be expanded in seasons to come.
