Background on Megan: Megan is a pediatric nurse practitioner and lactation consultant, living in Minneapolis, MN. She lived in Washington, DC for several years and moved back to Minnesota to be close to family and friends. Megan is the mother of two wonderful children. While pregnant with her son, she discovered that her husband and she were both genetic carriers of Smith Lemli Opitz Syndrome (SLOS), a rare but devastating disease. After their son was born they grew their family through adoption, which opened her mind and heart to the many ways people grow their family. She is currently in the process of starting her own lactation business to help new moms on their breastfeeding journey.
