In a world where non essential travel is not recommended it's time to enjoy our home and what is around us. One of the things I am happy about in 2020 is getting to know my neighbors more. While we couldn't go outside while we had the fires here in Oregon, the rest of 2020, we've been able to have coffee outside and have gotten to know our neighbors from a distance, and it's been lovely.

I've made it a mission to find out my neighbor's birthdays and what would be a special treat... whether it's savory or sweet, and have been delivering baked goods to my neighbors. Yes, I totally hopped on the bread train with everyone else this year and am putting those new skills to work.

I challenge you, to put yourself out there, go knock on your neighbor's door, whether it's right next door, 2 houses down or a mile away and find out when their birthday is. Learn about their past and cultivate a new relationship as we are in a crazy time in our lives.
