On this week’s Get Twisted, we fire up the amps and dive into the gritty, no-nonsense rock ‘n’ roll of Gunshine – a band that’s bringing back raw, high-energy guitar music with a vengeance.
Hailing from Pensacola, Florida, Gunshine was formed by Austin Ingerman (of New Years Day fame), with a mission to revive the feel-good, riff-driven power of classic rock — but with a modern punch. Their music is loud, fast, and built to be played live.
Current lineup includes:

🎤 Jordan Benson – Vocals
🥁 James Renshaw – Drums
🎸 Pat Brown – Bass guitar
We’ll be tearing into their self-titled debut release, unpacking tracks like "Wall Said to Call" and "Sugar Fine", and discussing why Gunshine might just be one of the most exciting things to happen to American rock in years.
