Saying I was a child star already gets me some looks and side-eyed glances. In all reality, my experiences weren't all bad—I had some absolutely insane opportunities, like meeting the likes of Diana Ross and Patti LaBelle. However, as you may expect, there's a bit of a tragic, darker side (and it may not be the one you're expecting.
