Briana Martinez earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Arizona State University. During her time in the Ph.D. program, Briana researched phage display as a biomarker discovery tool for traumatic brain injury which led to the development of motifs that target injury at distinct timepoints. During her time at ASU, her research has been recognized by the ARCS Foundation, National Neurotrauma Society, and ASU Faculty Women's Association. In addition to science, Briana is passionate about mentorship and creating environments where underrepresented students can succeed in biology research. Find her on Instagram @beetlebriana
