In this episode, Lisha introduces us to Cassandra Cummings, founder of the Stocks and Stillettos Society and registered financial advisor. Cassandra shares how she has created a community of over 100.000 black women by inspiring them to start on their own wealth walk.

While working as a financial advisor, Cassandra quickly became an expert in investing, finance, and money-growth strategies. However, she soon learned that her passion was to share this knowledge with like-minded women who she wanted to help achieve their own financial goals.

She created the Stocks & Stillettos Society Facebook group to create a sisterhood of African-American women who teach other about venture capital, angel investing, and more. In this collaborative space for women of color, Cassandra and her members share information, strategies, and insights to help each other thrive.

Through investment education and financial literacy, Cassandra not only promotes diversity in this white male-dominated space but is also investing in our future. She has recently created another group within the Stocks & Stilettos Society, the Queens of Capital. With a holistic approach, she helps them elevate their overall net worth by sharing insights into angel investing and other opportunities traditionally reserved for white men.
