In 1989 to 1993, Joel Rifkin, would murder and dismember 17 female sex workers. He would pull out their teeth, remove their finger tips and decapitate his victims. He would then dump their limbs and torsos in various locations throughout the state of New York with the use of empty paint cans and oil drums. As a result, he would be known as Joel The Ripper.
