• You need to do all the work, particularly on social media, to get traction behind your podcast, or you will not get listeners.
• Having a podcast is ‘playing the long game’. It will take time to build up listenership and a following.
• Make sure the podcast subject is around your passion. You have to be consistent over a long period of time for a podcast to be successful, you need to be able to keep your interest and enjoyment alive.
