The Gettin Close podcast returns with a long attempted episode featuring a staple of the Philly comedy scene, improv group- The Future. I can’t pretend to be impartial here since I’m great friends with all these people and directed this team for years. I was very happy we could all find time in our quarantine days to hop on zoom and talk about the life of this super fun team. They just marked 7 years as a team on May the 4th, so this a long discussion which is made even longer by the inclusion of tons of fun stories at the end (there are episode markers below). I’m a huge fan of all of these people, especially when stars align and they come together. Hopefully that can happen again soon. Enjoy as I get close with The Future.
