A couple of weeks ago, I went on a trip across the world to learn a completely different culture, and boy, did it change my heart in the most amazing ways.

I don't think you need to go as far as I did, but I do believe there are people in your backyard that you can get to know, learn from, and understand more.

Don't let the input or fear of others stop you from loving people who are different from you. It is not always easy, but it can certainly be worth it. In all reality, I thought I was going to be a light to them and change their lives and hearts, but instead, they changed mine even more!
