When you hear rumor of a great revolutionary King is coming, how do you expect him to arrive? Possibly in a parade of cars, surrounded by guards, maybe even military. When Jesus went into Jerusalem, he rode in on a donkey. A lonely animal, and certainly not the steed he was expected on. He didn’t match their expectations. How often do we let our unrealistic expectations cloud our ability to see who people truly are.
