Today, we talk about change. I don’t think we will ever be able to speak enough about this topic, mainly because it’s all around us! So, when you’re in doubt, ask an expert! And I did: I’ve had the pleasure of having Jessica Everitt as a guest, and she is a change expert specializing in personal and organizational transformations. Jessica is known for adapting formal change management techniques for personal success. Instead of conclusion
I don’t know about you, but this talk right here reassured me that, well, the fact that I choose different routes to and from work means I practice change, bit by bit. Or that when I put myself out there every day, and I feel uncomfortable in certain situations, that’s gonna help me manage my reaction to change better. So I will also remember that ‘Not all fears are the same and not all of them deserve the same reaction.’
And I will forever remember that ‘it takes ten thousand hours to become an expert. As Jessica’s inspirational quote goes, by David Allen – ‘You can do anything, but not everything’. And I have one quote I love from Jessica: ‘when you want something enough to invest 10,000 hours into it, you can excel at it. Even if you don’t think you have any natural ability. Brandon Burlsworth is the perfect example.
