Your first year at University marks an important transition - whether you are coming straight from school, or following on from employment or studies elsewhere. These video excerpts emphasise the integration of academic, personal and social transition in successfully adjusting to university.  They are from a DVD called "Starting University" produced by Theresa Davern (Learning Advisor - Learning Services), Sylvia Elmes (Learning Advisor - Learning Services) and Pius Ang (Counsellor - Student Services).
The DVD was the result of a project entitled: "Using successful peer experiences to enhance the transition to first year" funded by a Griffith University Quality Enhancement Grant in 2003.
