What do abuse, pornography and child rearing have in common? They are all things that we try to control in others by taking responsibility for their actions.
We try to hold others "models" when we decide that if we were different, our significant others would be as well.
But, we are just not that powerful.
It will serve us far better to understand what is actually in our control, and stop making other people's behavior mean that we are doing it wrong.
