In this episode, Mira starts by giving us a glimpse into her life with her late husband, Brian.  How they met, how they fell in love, and the beautiful life they shared before his two bouts with cancer.  She talks about the final days with him, including some the things they talked about, and what went unsaid. 

We then get to hear about her first experience going on a date after Brian’s death. How that served its purpose, and how an imagined sense of the future helped her push through her first year and prompted her to seriously consider dating. She tells the story of meeting, befriending, and dating a widower from her grief group, breaking things off for multiple reasons, and their ongoing relationship. She also touches on trying to take dating a little less seriously this time around, and how she is trying to enjoy herself and have fun along the way.
