In this episode (S03E01) of "How to Product?", Arjav Jain, the host speaks to Teressa Torres, Product Discovery Coach and the author of Continuous Discovery Habits. Teressa has coached numerous organizations across the world on how to get product discovery right. In this conversation, Teressa first explains what product discovery is and goes on to do that in a super simple manner. Arjav asks Teressa about how to maintain a balance between doing enough product discovery and also ship quickly and go to market quickly. Teressa then goes on to talk about what PMs are getting wrong about product discovery and what are some frameworks to ensure we're doing it correctly. She also talks about how to have a conversation with customers - she mentions how she has a story-based approach to talking to customers. Teressa shares a few questions that PMs could add to their arsenal while conducting user interviews. Teressa also talks about how to do customer interviews in a virtual world and she leaves us with some tips for folks trying to break into the product role.
