Lisa McCourt has curated her life around JOY. It's not that everything is peachy all the time. That's not reality. But through her work, Lisa demonstrates that Joy really is a choice.

She is the founder of Joy School, an online gathering place where people come together and share their experiences weekly. She's also the author of more than 40 books, including the "Stinky Face" childrens' book series, which has been called a modern classic and helps parents raise unconditionally loved humans.

In addition, Lisa is the proud mom of a transgender daughter, and President of her local PFLAG chapter.
