Oh, hi there!

On this episode, we contemplate recording the entire episode in Yoruba but someone chickened out.

We get into the past week, as usual. Feez talks about work coming for her life, accidentally ruining last week’s episode and having to reedit it, getting lost on coastal road (AGAIN)(TWICE), visiting friends and of course, heated rivalry. Oye talks about how her week was filled with clearly insane house agents. She recounts her experience house hunting for friends, how hopes at a decent apartment were crushed in no time and how our friends may have eventually found a decent apartment in the midst of the relentless housing crisis in Lagos. 

We also talk about some pop culture moments of the week: Speed’s visit to Nigeria and the ridiculousness that surrounded it, people not leaving room for tact and nuance in conversations and the gorgeous Ayra Star celebrating 5 years in the music industry.

Oye promises goody bags to loyal listeners and Feez insists that there is a song called goody bag.
