About Amy
Amy Schillinger, the Clincial Director is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Art Therapist, and she is trained in EMDR for Trauma. She is also a Mindfulness teacher. She believes that health is a three-prong process including mental, physical, and spiritual and she guides her clients to accomplish this goal with a therapy/coaching/advice model. Her specialties include Relationship Issues, Depression/Anxiety, Trauma and Addiction Treatment and Co-occuring Disorders. Her practice is skill-building and educational. Clients often learn a new coping skill to use in their relationships. She evaluates problems through indicators of traumatic stress and teaches people ways in which to be empowered, self-protective, install proper boundaries, become self-sufficient, and improve self-esteem.
