About Takenya: Raised in California, TaKenya Clark-Jefferies has always had a love for helping others using her faith. Her career in human services was a natural calling that led to her earning her Master’s Degree in Social Work from California State University, San Bernardino. As a licensed clinical social worker she specializes in grief, depression and anxiety. With almost 10 years of experience as a hospice
medical social worker, she has worked with patients and families who are dealing with terminal illness, anticipatory grief and bereavement. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Behavioral Health.
TaKenya is also a skilled psychotherapist who assists others in working through stressful life events with her private practice known as Terra Vista Counseling. “The Next Chapter: Journey to Healing through Grief, Loss and Disappointment” is her first published self-help book. T. Clark-Jefferies is committed to help others find hope in beginning again after loss while using their faith in God. She currently resides in the Inland Empire of Southern California with her family. TaKenya is surrounded by her loving village of family, friends, church family and more.
