The peaceful protest/protection of Ihumātao continues today, in its fourth day. People of different backgrounds are showing up to stand in solidarity with protesters. One of them is an architect and social entrepreneur John Belford-Lelaulu. Before the police eviction, John lived in Ihumātao with occupiers of the land learning the myths, legends and history between Māori and Pasifika.
