In the 2022-23 winter, Joel Myers Jr. took New Zealand by storm. The Sebastopol, California teenager won the coveted War of the Wings Sprintcar title and was crowned the King of Cromwell at Central Motor Speedway in April. Coming back stateside, he participated in several events, including an extensive Midwest trip with the Interstate Racing Association.
