Today’s talk looks at the difference between the life we’re taught to chase — constant getting — and the freedom that comes from letting go. The world encourages craving: more success, more possessions, more recognition. But none of it lasts, and clinging to what changes creates suffering. Letting go means releasing the idea that “I’m a person who is lacking.” Our true nature is already whole.
Through mindfulness, we gently drop each thought and emotion we claim as “mine,” returning again and again to: “This is not me. This is not mine. This is not myself.”
Letting go isn’t losing — it’s uncovering the peace already within you.
