그러자 개구리는 고개를 숙이고

Then the frog put his head down,

물속 깊숙이 뛰어들었다가,

and dived deep under the water;

잠시 후 그는 다시 올라왔습니다.

and after a little while he came up again,

공을 입에 물고

with the ball in his mouth,

샘 가장자리에 던졌습니다.

and threw it on the edge of the spring.

어린 공주는 그녀의 공을 보자마자

As soon as the young princess saw her ball,

그것을 가지러 달려갔습니다;

she ran to pick it up;

그리고 그녀는 그것을 다시 손에 들고 너무 기뻐서

and she was so overjoyed to have it in her hand again,

개구리는 생각도 하지 않았고

that she never thought of the frog,

최대한 빨리 집으로 달려갔습니다.

but ran home with it as fast as she could.

개구리가 그녀의 뒤를 따라 불렀지만,

The frog called after her,

'공주님, 잠시만요, 말씀하신 대로 저를 데려가 주십시오.’

'Stay, princess, and take me with you as you said,'

그녀는 한 마디도 듣지 않았습니다.

But she did not stop to hear a word.
