And when the princess opened the door

the frog came in,

그녀의 배게 위에서 잠을 청했습니다.

and slept upon her pillow as before,

아침이 될 때 까지요.

till the morning broke.

그리고 셋째 밤도 그는 똑같이 행동했어요.

And the third night he did the same.

그러나 다음날 아침 공주가 잠에서 깨어났을 떄

But when the princess awoke on the following morning

그녀는 깜짝 놀랐습니다.

she was astonished to see,

개구리 대신에

instead of the frog,

잘생긴 왕자가

a handsome prince,

그녀를 보고 있었습니다.

gazing on her

그녀가 본 것 중에 가장 아름다운 눈동자로요.

with the most beautiful eyes she had ever seen,

그렇게 그는 침대의 머리맡에 서있었어요.

and standing at the head of her bed.

그가 그녀에게 말하길

He told her that ,

그는 악의에 찬 요정의 마법에 의해

he had been enchanted by a spiteful fairy

개구리로 바꾸어졌다고 했어요.

who had changed him into a frog;

그리고 그는 그곳에 갇혀있었어요.

and that he had been fated so to abide

어떤 공주가 그를 샘에서 데리고 나와 줄 때 까지요.

till some princess should take him out of the spring,
