집 앞에는 커다란 돌통이 있었습니다.

There was a large stone trough in front of the house.

양동이를 가져오렴 작은 빨간 모자야

"Fetch a bucket, Little Red Cap,"

그녀가 아이에게 말했습니다.

어제 소세지를 좀 요리해 두었단다.

"Yesterday I cooked some sausage.

물을 좀 가져오렴

Carry the water

물은 돌통과 함께 소세지를 끓일 거란다.

작은 빨간 모자는 물을 가지고 왔습니다.

Little Red Cap carried water

커다랗고 큰 돌통이 완전히 가득 찰때까지요.

until the large, large trough was clear full.

소세지 냄새가 늑대의 코에 들어갔고

The smell of sausage arose into the wolf's nose.

늑대는 코를 훌쩍이며 내려다 보았는데

He sniffed and looked down,

그의 목을 내려뜨리는 중

stretching his neck

너무 길게 뺀 나머지 스스로 몸을 가누지 못했어요.

so long that he could no longer hold himself,

그래서 그는 미끄러지기 시작했습니다.

and he began to slide.

지붕에서 미끄러지자

He slid off the roof,

돌통에 떨어졌고, 그안에서 익사했습니다.

fell into the trough, and drowned.

그리고 작은 빨간 망토는 행복하게 집으로 돌아왔습니다.

And Little Red Cap returned home happily,

이제 아무도 그녀를 해칠 수 없었어요.

and no one harmed her.
