작은 빨간 망토가 말했고,

said Little Red Cap,

그녀의 어머니 손을 잡았습니다.

shaking her mother's hand.

할머니는 숲에서 살았습니다.

The grandmother lived out in the woods,

마을에서 30분 정도 떨어져 있었죠.

a half hour from the village.

작은 빨간 망토가 숲속으로 들어갔을 때

When Little Red Cap entered the woods

늑대가 그녀에게 다가왔습니다.

a wolf came up to her.

그녀는 그가 얼마나 사악한 동물인지 알지 못했어요.

She did not know what a wicked animal he was,

그래서 그를 두려워하지 않았습니다.

and was not afraid of him.

날이 좋구나 작은 빨간 망토야

"Good day to you, Little Red Cap."

그러게요 늑대씨

"Thank you, wolf."

이렇게 일찍 어딜 가는 중이니, 작은 빨간 망토야?

"Where are you going so early, Little Red Cap?"

할머니 댁에 가는 중이예요.

"To grandmother's."

그런데 앞치마 밑에 뭘 들고 가는 중인거니?

"And what are you carrying under your apron?"
