She begged her stepmother to allow her to go.

and you want to go to the festival?.

You have neither clothes nor shoes,

그래도 춤은 추고 싶니!

and yet you want to dance!"

그러나 신데렐라가 계속 물었기 때문에

However, because Cinderella kept asking,

계모는 결국 이렇게 말하였습니다.

the stepmother finally said,

내가 널 위해 렌즈콩 한 그릇을 잿더미에 뿌렸거든,

"I have scattered a bowl of lentils into the ashes for you.

두 시간 안에 그것들을 다시 골라 낼 수 있다면,

If you can pick them out again in two hours,

그러면 우리와 함께 가도 좋단다.

then you may go with us."
