In this episode, I chat with a recent former colleague and good friend, Danny Katabazi. He started his fitness journey by working out at home with his brothers and soon after getting his first paycheque as a teen, unlike most of us who might buy material goods, Danny chose to get a gym membership. From that point on, fitness became a permanent part of his life. During our chat, we spoke about his recent cut where he dropped nearly 25 lbs in the span of 4 months, how he intends to maintain his progress & put on more size, his unique approach to training as well as how someone can get started in fitness if they are a beginner. If this is you, Danny recommends two main things: figure out why you want to get started as your "why" will help you stay the course over the long term, and get your nutrition in check because this will play a major role in the results you'll get. Both Danny and myself have some different training/nutrition philosophies for achieving the similar goals, so if you enjoy hearing opposing views then this episode is for you. If you want to connect with him on social media, you can find him on Instagram @dks.lab.
